Not our first time here!! This is one of our favorite places my wife & I go to for our date night! Never any issues! John was our server tonight, very professional and knowledgeable! From appetizers to dessert all was great & yummy! Keep up the great work guys & girls!!

⭐⭐ Disappointing experience I was really disappointed with my experience here. I ordered based on the pictures shown on the menu, but what I actually received looked very different from what was advertised. The presentation and portion were not what I expected at all. The grilled fish in particular was especially disappointing compared to the menu photo. I understand that food may not look exactly like a professional menu picture, but this was a significant difference. I’m attaching photos of both the menu and the actual food I received so others can see the difference and decide for themselves. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don’t think the food was worth what I paid and I probably would not come back.

Moon Thai & Japanese is a delightful peak into authentic Thai food and culture. The decor in the restaurant is reminiscent of Thai temples and the buddhist faith in thailand. Everything I would expect in any of the fancier restaurants in Thailand.. It is rare that I find a Thai restaurant in the US that is authentic to Thailand. There is always something missing in the flavors or is Chinese food called Thai. This is not the case here. I couldn't make a recommendation for improvement. Everything was absolutely perfect The Mee Krob and Tom Saap Moo made me miss Thailand. The blend of Thai seasoning and flavors touched my heart. I hope to come back and try more of the Thai dishes as well as sushi from the Japanese parts of the menu.

The food at Moon Thai is genuinely good — four stars for that alone. The massaman curry with chicken was hearty and full of flavor, and it came with sticky rice, which was a nice touch. The hot and sour soup was also delicious with great depth of flavor. No complaints on the food whatsoever. The experience, however, left a bit to be desired. We made the rookie mistake of ordering our appetizers and entrées at the same time, but the kitchen ran with it — my soup came out in two minutes, the salad a minute after that, and then our entrées arrived two minutes later. We had everything on the table at once before we could blink. To top it off, our server brought out the wrong salad and had to swap it mid-meal. Then came the check — with an 18% large party gratuity added automatically. For a table of two. I let it go, but it was a head-scratcher. As was being seated sandwiched between two other parties when the back of the restaurant was completely empty. Again, the food is solid and worth trying, especially the massaman curry. But between the pacing, the mix-ups, and the auto-gratuity situation, I’m not rushing back anytime

It was my first time here and it won’t be my last. My experience was amazing from the beginning until the end. The new sushi chef Dani did an amazing job preparing his new specialty roll. The drunken noodle and lamb chops were also very delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
